Please read these terms and conditions.
“The Company” means Arton & Co.
“Terms” means the terms and conditions.
“Goods” means any items offered for sale by the Company.
“You” means any Customer, Individual or Company who places an order with the Company for Goods.
"Contract" means the acceptance by the Company of an order placed by you and such acceptance shall occur when the Company commences work on an order or when the Company agrees to accept the order and communicates this to you.
After browsing our website, simply select your items which you wish to purchase. These will be added into your shopping cart. Once you have selected everything you wish to purchase, you will be taken to checkout. Here you will enter your shipping and billing information. Once this is complete your order will be forward onto the company.
When the Company forwards confirmation of your order this will not mean that a contract exists, it will merely be an acknowledgement of you placing an order with us. The Company must receive payment of the price of the goods and delivery charges prior to your order being accepted, only then will a contract exist. The Company reserves the right to refuse any order and are not obliged to provide any reason to you. We will let you know when your order has been accepted and dispatched. You will receive an email to let you know your product has been despatched.
We are open Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm and orders will only be processed during that time. As all items are made to order if you place an order on a Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday your orders will not be processed until Monday morning. Due to cakes also being made fresh to order if you require a cake quickly please note it would only be despatched on the Monday so you will receive it on the Tuesday.
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
Please ensure you check with your vet if your dog has any special dietary requirements or allergies prior to ordering any Goods from our site. We cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction to any of our Goods.
These terms shall apply to every contract. If you place an order with the Company then you are agreeing to be bound by these terms.
The Company may ask for any information it requires to fulfill the contract and there shall be no liability upon the Company for non-performance if the necessary information is not provided.
We accept payment by PayPal or cash on collection or delivery as shown on our site. PayPal take payment at the time of purchase. Goods will only be dispatched to the you when payment has been made in full. We also accept payments via credit card using Control as a payments processor.
Our normal delivery is via Royal Mail or MyHermes. For Royal Mail we use a 1st class signed for service. Please make sure someone is in to sign for the cake or you have let us know your safe place. Delivery takes 1-3 days (please allow longer for bank holidays and the festive period). If your order is urgent please email email@example.com and we will try to assist you with an earlier delivery date. This would be done by either a courier with a next day service or via Royal Mail next day delivery. Dependent on weight. Please note these services cost more if you require next day delivery on a Saturday.
If you are unable to accept delivery of goods then you will be responsible for collection from the depot holding the goods and liable for any payment for additional delivery arrangements. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are home to either accept the cake or another family member or a safe place has been issued to us. We cannot be help responsible if your cake has been attempted to be delivered and you are not there to accpet it and it has gone to Royal Mail for you to collect it the next day. The Company cannot accept any liability for late delivery of goods and delivery time will not be of the essence to the contract. The Company cannot accept responsibility or liability for non-delivery of goods where it is caused by circumstances beyond its control. All risks shall pass to you upon delivery or attempted delivery. If you feel you may not be home when delivery could be made please let us know of a different address which it could be shipped to so someone can accept the parcel. E.g neighbour or place of work. Please also let us know if you have a safe place at your address where parcels can be left. We aim to deliver all cakes to you either on or a day before your dogs birthday. If you are unable to recieve the cake due to you not being at home we cannot accept any responsibilty for this.
Please note that our tracked services are only posted out Monday- Friday. If you order a cake on a friday it will only be posted out the following Monday. All leads, collars or standard treats will be sent using Myhermes. This take 2-5 days and is fully tracked. Please contact if you have any questions regarding the delivery of your item.
If you require a different day please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note
that we cannot guarantee delivery of your items unless you choose Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. No items are posted out during the weekends.
All goods will be free from defects at the time of dispatch. You must notify the Company of any defects within 24 hours of delivery and the Company must be given a reasonable opportunity to view the goods. The Company accepts no responsibility or liability for goods damaged or failure/delayed delivery because of adverse weather conditions. Please note, we will process your order as quickly as possible and will need 7 days notice. Prices will be provided on request and will be in accordance with the Royal Mail charges.
Cancellation/Cooling Off Period
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations you have a 7 day 'cooling off' period. If you decide to exercise your consumer rights you will be liable for the cost of the postage to return your goods to the Company. In order to do this, you must provide notice of cancellation in writing and it must be posted or emailed to our stated business address within the cancellation period. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to the Company unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
The Company shall not be liable to you in the event that the Company is unable to carry out any part of the contract for causes beyond its control.
The Company will notify you as soon as is reasonably possible in such circumstances.
Most goods may be returned for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt provided they are in their original packaging and in an unused condition. If you return goods to us we will only refund the costs of the goods, we will not refund the costs of postage. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
The Company will not provide any refund until the goods have been received at our business address in a resaleable condition. You should obtain and complete a ‘certificate of postage’ from stamped by the Royal Mail before returning the goods. Ideally you should return the goods by Royal Mail ‘Sign For’ service; this will enable the same to be tracked. The Company accepts no liability for goods lost in transit back to our business address.
Any items which are personalised or have a specific design requirement
are to be paid for in full do to the uniqueness of the item. If you decide to
cancel your order then it must still be paid for in full or it cannot be
refunded as these items cannot be used again or resold.
Please also note that seasonal goods and personalised goods are not returnable.
Please note all goods returned MUST be unused, in their original packaging and be in saleable condition.

The images and information supplied is for informational purposes only. We cannot be held responsible for the content of any other website that is linked to ours.

Act 1998) and according to the Web Trader Code of Practice. Your details are stored on a computer
according to the terms of the Data Protection Act 1984.
The price you pay will be shown at the checkout on our website. We reserve the right to revise quoted
prices in the event of unforeseen and increased expenses incurred by the Company.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect consumer statutory rights.
